Emily Osment, who rose to fame starring as Lilly Truscott on Disney's wildly popular Hannah Montana franchise tops out the bill of MuchMusic's SodaPOP 2010 festival which hits the Riverfest Main Stage on Saturday, July 3rd, 2010.

MuchMusic’s SodaPOP music festival hits the road for their first annual nationwide tour, kicking off June 5th in Vancouver BC. The tour brings some of today’s hottest international and domestic pop artists to 16 Canadian cities from Vancouver to Halifax. Headlining this year’s festival is Hannah Montana’s Emily Osment supported by Toronto born Singer/Songwriter Jesse Labelle and introducing pop phenom Alyssa Reid.
The MuchMusic sponsored festival is a young adult focused lifestyle event that promises to be more than just a “concert”. As a fully interactive experience it will incorporate large screens with featured video footage from the artists and MuchMusic, gaming stations and interactive booths. As well the festival offers audiences a unique opportunity to interact directly with the artists through a post show “fanfest”/autograph session that will take place following each night’s performance.

Ambush - July 4th 2010

Ambush, Eastern Ontario's hottest Rockin' Country Band will close out Riverfest 2010 on the Main Stage Sunday, July 4th, 2010.
ambush, the little band with the big sound, has been delivering its own brand of high energy country music since 1993. The trio of Mark McDonell, Riq Turner and Jim Wright are a dynamite combination of talent, experience and enthusiasm.
Known for their energetic live shows, ambush has built an intensely loyal fan base in Eastern Ontario. They perform more than 200 shows a year, appearing before 250,000 people annually.Fan support helped them win top spot in the CMT reality music series, “Plucked” last November. Pitted against regional acts such as Aaron Goodvin, Carla Sacco, Lisa Hewitt, Mike Gouchie and Pear, ambush garnered an astonishing 50 percent of the audience votes.
ambush peers in the country music industry have also recognized their talent. This past year they received CCMA nominations for both Independent Group or Duo of the Year and Group or Duo of the Year.
